NA0T0/"Naoto"

Naoto was discovered outside Layer 2 in Area Zero. They piqued the interest of some of our researchers due to the fact they appeared to be humanoid in a way that most other residents were not. Despite this, Naoto is not alone in this aspect.

One of our volunteers [REDACTED] has put in some logs regarding the history of Naoto and what they have done. For classification as well as simplicity reasons we have summarized the logs thusly;

1. Naoto was discovered outside the First Research Lab on ███████ by ██████. They were recorded as staring at strange tera crystals and not interacting with other creatures around them. The first photo of Naoto was taken here, but the photographer left before more could be made. It was speculated Naoto appeared to be some kind of humanoid machcine based off of the odd creatures known as "Iron Moths". Their behavior appears to align with the creatures as well according to verbal accounts from ██████. However none could have been confirmed at that point.

2. A research team was sent out to find and analyze Naoto once more. They sucessfully managed to locate and record data for Naoto. Confirmation was made that Naoto appears to mimic many behaviors from regular Iron Moths. However it was also discovered that Naoto is much stronger than a regular Iron Moth, in the way that they could obliterate any threat they may discover. This was witnessed when an Iron Thorns mistook Naoto for its next meal. The team determined that recovery efforts would have to decommission Naoto as well as weaken them immensely before anything else can be done.

3. A second research team was deployed to try and weaken Naoto before their capture. Naoto proved themselves to be agile and powerful, but was eventually apprehended and shut down. When reactivated, we noted that Naoto seemed exponentially weaker than before, most of their abilities appeared to be weakened or impossible to access. This made them significantly less dangerous, but also more timid and skittish. After various tests, it was determined that Naoto was one hundred percent robotic, and not a cyborg like "Ramiel". They appear to be made of some immensely tough metal that is nothing like what we have here. We can only assume it is some kind of futuristic metal. As for behavior, despite their timidness they appear to not socialize well with other residents, but mostly due to the fact that Naoto is rather social and the others are not. They appear to have befriended "Luno" which is surprising considering his personality.

4. Naoto appears to be slowly regaining their abilities here, but we have no reason to believe they might turn on us. They appear to have assimilated well with our researchers, and they show little animosity towards any of them. Well, except for ██████ who approached them aggressively as apart of a test. Other than that, Naoto seems to be the most "normal" out of all the residents here. While they do not speak, Naoto can get across their feelings using emotion and body language. They do not appear to understand manners and etiquette, which is extremely frustrating for us. However with a little more time we hope that they will begin to understand it and we can properly assimlate them to ██████.

5. Following an incident at ███████ █ caused by █████████ ████████ on ███████ we have gone against our better judgement and decided to transfer Naoto to ██████. They will reside with Luno as it appears the two of them are very comfortable with one another. Hopefully Naoto will not cause trouble, but just in case we allowed some of our researchers to accompany them there.

Naoto currently resides in ██████ along with Luno. They appear to be assimilating well, but many residents of ██████ appear uneasy around them. That is to be expected, but Naoto does not appear to be any significant danger to any residents. Even if they are regaining their abilities, we do not believe that they have any need to cause harm. We will still remain prepared however.
