Depending on the situation he can use objects to make tapping sounds or use vocalizations such as humming or clicking to help him echolocate. Though this doesn't give him perfect "vision" it's very reliable and allows him to live a fairly normal, independent life. Inspiration: "Blind people also often use short and quick cane taps to echolocate. Studies show that echolocation in humans can be so precise that they can distinguish textures such as metal through sound. Similarly, experts at echolocating can precisely identify minimal gaps between objects placed more than a meter away." Fun Facts - Identifies new species of jellyfish using echolocation to identify subtle shape and size differences but cannot describe colors so relies heavily on his assistant - Primarily echolocates using clicking sounds he makes with his mouth - Uses his stinger to tap the ground to aide in his echolocation - Often wears a mask or blindfold but they aren't necessary as he has no eyes at all |  |
