Poison is a dragon who got infected by a corrosive acid and it took over his body. It drove her mad and they knew that their reputation would be ruined as this infection controlled half of her brain, so it switched between her controlling his own actions and the infection. It turned them into a villain who nobody trusted because of their impulsive actions.
