Keefe was born and raised in the secretive druid town of Crystalhurst. He was raised communually by people within the town. At the time of his birth, the village was deeply worried with trying to find a cure to combat the deadly plague known as The Darkblight which was killing large numbers of trees and dryads. Often Keefe was left to his own devices while his caretakers would be preoccupied with making tonics and searching for ingrediants.

While Keefe was alone he often wished that someone would come to play with him. His wish for company was granted when a spectral girl around his age came from the forest to play. She was enwreathed in flowers and plants and she seemed to always know where the best flowers or four leaf clovers were. She said her name was Chrysanthimum, but Keefe could just call her Chrysa. The two would play until dusk when Keefe had to go home and when he did Chrysa also returned to the forest though Keefe would return home carrying all the fun plants she showed him.

Before long the druids of the village noticed Keefe was bringing home useful and rare herbs at high qualities. Everyone was curious as to how Keefe was finding these things and even more curious when he answered "my friend Chrysa". Interested in getting some tangible answers regarding Chrysa, the druids followed Keefe to the clearing that he often played with her at, and much to their shock they discovered Chrysa was a spirit of a dryad, who most likely had passed due to the Darkblight. Per usual Keefe and Chrysa traveled to a patch of high quality herbs and plucked a few to take home.

Years later Keefe and Chrysa have stayed together and in the meanwhile the Darkblight was cured when its source was located and dealt with. As Keefe did grow up, he was taught to use the herbs that he found and studied to become an excellent apothocary and medic. He had the skill to grind up the material and administer it whereas Chrysa had a deep knowledge of the herbs and where to find them making the two a powerful team. With the Darkblight cured though the need for apothocaries in the area had been reduced and Keefe was interested in pursuing that line of work, but also Keefe found himself yearning for love. In his small town, there was no one he felt like he could fall in love with that way (or really no one in his prospects that he hadnt atleast tried). With these two reasons combined Keefe and his spirit friend Chrysa departed from the town and follow the herbs from town to town.

Chrysa served as Keefe's matchmaker and wingman, often trying to hype him up to make confessions or come up with pickup lines. Occasionally she would tell him "pretend I'm them and confess to me!" or even saying "Practice kissing with me!." To anyone who wasnt Keefe it was somewhat clear that perhaps Chrysa had a little bit of a crush on Keefe, but since he was homosexual she knew this would never blossom into anything and was still in a little bit of denial about it. None the less, as his best friend she thought it important to try to help him find love so that he can be happy! Another one of Keefe's signature tricks to try to win someone over was to make potpurris. He would inclue typical herbs and spices like lavender or cirtus peels, but as a node to his intentions he would inclue things like rosehips which were said to bring luck in love.

At the end of the day Keefe may be a good apothocary and herbalist but his love life continues to flatline. Even so this doesnt discourage him or Chrysa and the two still keep their chins up!
