Basics
Ronan is a 25 year old man. He was born into a rich and well-respected, but feared, family in the town of Winsdale. His mother is a regular aristocrat, while his father is the old commander of the Winsdale knights. He is the current commanding knight of his town, he took after his father. He protects the town as well as usually attending to the requests of the Mayor's son, Win. He is a well respected knight and aristocrat in Winsdale. Although some fear and despise him, many hold extreme respect and admiration for him. He is considered "the perfect knight" in Winsdale, especially according to the Mayor's family. His squire, Aero, is always by his side.
Character
Due to the way Ronan was raised and his surroundings, people portray him as very cocky, pompous, and strict. He was trained and raised to be skillful, smart, and calculated. He's very quiet, he only talks to others when he believes is necessary. Usually, only speaking when he needs to make direct orders. If he does speak more than usual then it's mostly only to Riva and his squire, Aero. As well as Winsdale's mayor's son, due to having platonic relations since they were young. He is seemingly emotionless in an apathetic way as proven by his actions and decisions. His tone can be quite monotone though, if not that then his tone is rude and demanding.

Ronan does not give up easily, at all. He is very persistent to getting his job done, in this case, securing a win. His dedication to his role and pride is to the extreme. His persistent attitude and attempt to never give up is shown through his ambition.

He has extreme passion and determination to prove himself as the perfect commander. His ambitions shine brightly through his actions and attitude on the battlefield. He is a proud a knight.
Stamina
Ronan actually has fairly low stamina. His body gets tired easily from running and fighting. Even then, due to how much he pushes himself and his ambition, he carries on even if he has an energy limit. He breaks his body to be the perfect knight.

- Ronan looks out his bed-side window every night. Aero realized that he was looking for someone, waiting for them.
- they also go to the spa together. in highschool, he used to doodle Riva in his diary. he wished he was a better artist so he could replicate him well. unfortunately, he's a very bad artist, there's one thing he just simply is not good at.
- he can't cook at all, the first time he attempted to - he almost burnt down his kitchen. his parents were very disappointed and he got scolded all day. not like it matters, he can just ask servants to cook for him but he wanted to be good at everything.

Riva [ best friend (?), romantic interest ]
Ronan has kept lingering feelings for Riva for around ten years. He realized that he felt a certain way about him but he never realized what that "something" was until recently.
ACADEMY DAYS: Ronan was taken aback by Riva due to the many rumors of Vinmur that spread in Winsdale. According to the people of Winsdale, Vinmur only contained disgusting, rude, and sleazy criminals. Yet, Riva was nothing like that. Riva was like an anamoly to Ronan. Although he was raised in a town of criminals, he was a kind, supporting, and dependable person. Riva showed Ronan that he didn't have to fear being weak anymore. That he could let loose, be free like the swans and doves he loved so much. Riva snuck him out sometimes at night so they could gaze at the stars and moon together.
In their last three years at Sinvard Academy, the two were forced to dorm together. Even though Ronan already liked Riva (platonically is what he believed), he was a bit anxious of this new change. Perhaps it was due to such a drastic change in dormmates...or perhaps something more than that? He felt a bit flustered by this change...? He tried to ignore this...but he couldn't. Maybe he was still not used to, at the very least, dorming with someone from Vinmur. But that still did not make sense to him as he thought he already stopped caring enough about his parents' remarks and warnings about his friends. So, he proposed the idea of making a fake barrier across the room (as he did before his first time dorming at Sinvard). Of course this did not go down as well as he expected, the proposal was denied but privacy was a basic boundary that neither would cross of course. Ronan was too afraid to interact with Riva unless it was outside of their dorm room. Ronan just pretended he did not exist when they were in their dorm room. Instead he just kept to himself, he would constantly study in the room. Riva must have noticed their slight drift because one night...he tried to convice Ronan to sneak out with him just as he done in past. It was just like he did the first time: Ronan refused but ended up caving. It was just as fun as before except this time...once they came back to their room...he couldn't let out any genuine reactions. He kept in his feelings about the outing as much as he could. He wanted to be close to him like they always were, even if it was a sudden change that they were now dorming together. He never wants to drift away from Riva and he realized that at this point. He considered him as one of his most dearest friends and that is a huge thing for Ronan to admit to. They carried on with their secret outings together...one night they even watched the stars and moon together as they held hands. It sparked many feelings in Ronan, ones he couldn't even comprehend. He was already confused about his true feelings towards Riva but this really solidified that. Riva even showed care for Ronan many times such as tucking him into bed when he fell asleep at his desk from studying so late at night. Their relationship was full of warmth and care. They were very close.
POST-GRADUATION: Ronan still greatly admires and respects Riva. He has always been extremely competent, he proved himself to Ronan on his own accord. Ronan believes he just has extreme admiration for Riva, but no, this was love, Ronan loves Riva. Ronan started to miss Riva, he missed seeing him. He waited by his bed-side window and watched the moon every night, waiting for him. Once the current contest was announced, conflict arose. Their relationship got rocky. Ronan did not realize this at first, he was just happy and content with fulfilling his role as a proud and respected knight. He didn't realize how everyone was taking the contest, how it emotionally affected them all. Due to their conflict and the fact that Ronan participated in the contest, Riva started to rob Winsdale at night. Every night Ronan sits down on his bed, he looks out his window and waits to see Riva sneak into town. He knew what Riva was doing yet for some reason he didn't care. He just wanted to see him, he watched him and his subordinates storm Winsdale, silently, and he let them go. It wasn't until later in the contest that Ronan realized how everyone truly felt about him and his involvement in said contest. He felt awful that Riva was disappointed in him, his look of disappointment struck pain and fear in him. Ronan had never felt more broken in his life. He lost his passion during the contest, later events caused his passion to die down further. He never wanted to disappoint Riva. Things lead to another during the contest and he realized more how much he truly cared for Riva...how much he loved him. He finally realized it, he loved Riva. He loved him more than anyone, than anything.
POST-CONTEST: Since the contest was over...Ronan wanted to finally pull the bandage off the wound. To clear up things...to truly fix things. He wanted to professionally and officially fix things between everyone, especially Riva. Ronan wanted to apologize for once, to make up with everyone...with Riva. Ronan wrote a letter to invite Riva to Winsdale. Ronan usually waited at his bed-side window for Riva to sneak into town, he would watch him from up above...but this time he waited for him near the first floor window. He had tea prepared for the both of them. They talked for a bit about everything, just trying to make sense of it all. Establish their relationship...to make up. Ronan tried his hardest to understand Riva's feelings and concerns, Riva had done the same. Sooner or later their conversation seemed like it was just like the old times. Even then, they both probably knew it would take a while to truly get used to being "back to normal again". But Ronan didn't want any more problems, confusion, or misunderstandings. He wanted to finally get his feelings across so that something like this would never happen again. He wanted to care, he wanted to show it. So before he said his goodbyes to Riva, he kissed Riva on the cheek, it was his confession. His way to say 'I love you and I always have'. That's when he said his goodbyes, he left Riva out there in shock as he went to hide in his bed. He was flustered but he was happy. His feelings hopefully came across for once. He loves Riva and he's glad he got to show him. From this point on, Riva and Ronan started their mutual and confirmed corny romance. Riva even introduced Ronan to his family and town. Ronan on the other hand was afraid of his parents finding out about how he was still interacting with all the commanding knights. So he kept his relationship with Riva a secret. They acted like idiots trying to hide their relationship. Ronan felt a bit awful about having to hide their relationship but it also made things feel fun and risky for the two. Ronan realized that Riva introduced him to his secret love for the rush of doing such risky and "rebellious" things. The two were simply idiots in love.
