Baron von Burn

"I will burn you to a crisp. Get out."

The Ignition Model of the Ranger B50 line of attack robots, broken out of the factory after a malfunctioning chip grants him sentience. He finds himself dealing with his freedom, his individuality and his new thoughts. He wonders about what he even has to do, or where to go, now that he is not subject to following orders and commands, just to end up the in the same path as a mercenary for pay- the best of them in all of Quake Canyon. He settles on the name Baron von Burn, after people keep commenting on his burner arm, and as such is tasked with burning down some trees in a forest. Baron and a coworker accept, thinking it will be easy.

Despite it sounding so stupidly simple, turns out burning down trees is not easy, as the forest is viciously defended by a group of misfits lead by a young swordsman who antagonize Baron by all means available. Most of them apply physical violence, while one focuses on putting out the fire. It gets worse one day, as the group is suddenly joined by an annoying blonde girl from outside the forest who is just unphazed by Baron's weapons. Desperate, he looks out for anyone that could give him a hand and let him finish his job, eventually having to accept help from the forest's resident madman much to his annoyance.

Baron von Burn has an extense arsenal. His main weapon, his burner arm capable of spitting fierce flames of the highest temperatures. On top of its incendiary purpose, a flame can go through steel, rock, and other hard materials, cutting them as if it was a sword. On his left hand, sharp, dangerous claws that he uses for close combat. His boots are made of titanium, and his kicks can cause serious damage. Lastly, he retains his fantastical reaction time and defensive strategies in his programming, as a robot created for violence. Desired or not, Baron is a force to be afraid of. I wonder if he has a soft side too...?
