CHARACTERISTICS

CHAR. - APPEARANCE

Asphalt is a slimy monster with an incredibly long neck. Vi has long rabbit-like ears, tipped with lime green. At the end of it's neck is a stout body with powerful hind legs and long arms, coated with black instead of green. While cosmonauts usually have multiple limbs, Asphalt has the standard four instead. The arms have five yellow stripes that mimic caution tape colors. It has human-like hands and rabbit paws. Its tail is a slime blob that's constantly making a mess. Asphalt is always seen with accessories, these being caution tape around vir's neck and a manhole cover on vir's head (dripping with slime). Vi's eyes and mouth glow that same green color.

DESIGN NOTES TO REMEMBER:

• Vi usually sticks to the large size, however, vir is capable of shrinking virself down to a more reasonable size. This is done so it can interact with others.

• He CAN wear clothes, but often sticks to the standard accessories.

• Both its eyes and mouth are goopy, and will often have slime drooling from it.

• Asphalt's design can vary and be simplified. They also move on either on the ground (anthro or feral) or float in the air.

CHAR. - PERSONALITY

Asphalt is a confident yet empty-headed cosmonaut. He always believes in himself but at the same time completely underestimates his limits. Since it has spent most of its time alone, social interaction is something he doesn't mind but is not used to. Vi can appear quite cocky and dramatic. Vi is also lazy at times and prefers to stick to what vi are familar with close by instead of going far to learn and see new things. Asphalt means well in the end and can be friendly, however, his flaws can be quite noticable and hard to ignore.

CHAR. - ABILITIES

Because Asphalt is a cosmonaut, it has abilities that can reflect on what it can mimic. Of course, there are some natural abilities that Asphalt has learned over time, but some of the more unique ones are related to vir cosmonaut genetics. These have been sorted into three types: skills he has learned on their own, skills that all cosmonauts have, and special skills due to his identity. There is also a short section on weaknesses.

PROFICIENCIES:

• Graffiti Artist: To kill time, Asphalt has taken up on learning graffiti art. It has caught up on this by watching and taking note of graffiti it finds in the tunnels. Vi uses spare spray cans vi finds littered around.

NATURAL ABILITIES:

• Levitation: Almost every cosmonaut is capable of reversing the gravity around themselves, or levitating. This is so they can navigate and move freely, while also helping them get back into space or to different planets. While Asphalt sticks to the surface, it is still capable of this ability.

GIFTED ABILITIES:

• Slime Source: Asphalt has mimicked off of sludge and slime it finds in the sewer. Because of this, it is able to make its very own slime. His main way of making it is with his tail, capable of being pulled off, and trailing around wherever he goes. Ve can also make it through other methods, since it comes off vir body easily like moisture. But the tail is the best source.

WEAKNESSES:

• Water: Is capable of washing away any slime created by Asphalt, as well as harming them. Vir tail and ears are much more sensitive towards this.

• Bases: Much like how bases can neutralize acids, this has the same effect towards Asphalt. This applied towards his slime or himself, will dissolve it or cancel it out. Similar to its water weakness.

MISC. - INVENTORY

Asphalt has a hoard of items vi keeps stashed away in vir's lair. Here is some stuff it always has on hand.

• Spray paint cans: Asphalt has a collection of used spray paint cans he finds left behind. These are used to leave art alongside its tunnels and lair.
