They created the Kraven Galaxy and, instead of keeping it in a pocket dimension, placed it just... way, way, way, way, way off into the abyss of space where they figured it would never interfere with Akis. However, they underestimated the space-traveling abilities of their own creation... The event that follows, the merging of worlds, is historically referred to as The Galactic Bleed
