Powered by souls spirited away, Limbo ironically is both a guide that leads souls to peace as well as consumes them upon liberation. A fairy's ability is only as good as their ability to invoke fear, which this particular one does well. Despite that, they reserve their temper for those undeserving; Limbo is well known among travellers as a generous and kindly figure, though their presence usually implies that a traveller's time is nearly up.

It is unknown how long Limbo has existed. Fairies have existed since the beginning but they come and go; the prowess of Limbo implies that they've existed far longer than most fairies.
Limbo's sight is both a blessing and an omen, where their presence can mean exit from being lost but can also mean an approaching death. It seems that Limbo devours souls only once they are content with the idea of it, making them one of the more benevolent fairies of the world. Though they don't understand the purpose of playfulness, they are more than willing to amuse the souls they are guiding.
