magnus had grown up in a loving home, the jewel of her parents' eyes. she had lived in a huge mansion, something akin to a castle, and knew nothing but soft pillows, a warm bed, and a full stomach. she never questioned why she stayed in her home, always locked behind the gates that guarded her little castle. one day, when she found her mother dead in her bedroom, she began to learn. he would no longer keep her in the dark and when she was 13, his entire organization was laid out to her.
anyways, she was brought up after that to take his place, taught how to manage money, deal with clients, and spot a snake (figuratively). now a well rounded woman, magnus is perfectly able to take her father's position. yet, it's the thing she most dreads. if it were up to her, she'd travel some place and forget all the blood her father has forced her to spill, scrubbing it all away. between her love for her father and the people trapped in the organization, magnus can't give in and run away.
