horror character. Most art will contain gore or other elements of horror. Blevine was in part created by the deaths of sacrificial sheep sent by shepards to the wolves to protect the rest of the flock. The wolf pack in that area was so large and dangerous that the shepards believed they had no other choice but to placate the wolves. The dead sheep's spirits collected into one entity that seethed at their helplessness and the betrayal from those who should have protected them. 

One day a sacrificial sheep sent before the massive pack of wolves so fervently wished to live  wished she could do something, Anything, and as she did the collective of spirits possessed her creating Blevine. The wolves were the helpless ones this time. Blevine tore through the pack and took the pelt from the strongest wolf. They torment the shepards who abandon their flock and have a strong hatred of wolves. Blevine will never harm another sheep but the sheep are rightfully terrified of her all the same. Eventually her hate of those who abandon the ones they are meant to protect extended to not just shepards. If she saw a parent hurt their child, a person neglect their pet, a governor ignore the plight of their citizens she 'punished' them. 

Blevine would haunt the steps of those who harmed the ones they were supposed to care for. Appearing in their nightmares and waking hours, following them for weeks in the shadows and borders of the forest. once the person was beyond terrified and paranoid to the point their life was falling apart then blevine would finally approach to kill them.
