Beginning

Kori and Toshi went to U.A around the same time. Kori being highly competitive always tried to compete with everyone in her class,and she and Toshinori became close friends, using their competions to help each other improve and encourage each other. Kori was a loyal friend,always there for Toshi no matter what and they remained close even when he went to America. It was shortly after he got back that the two realized they liked each other as more than friends and they began dating. Within a few years they had had two children and though they had to keep their relationship and family hidden they were happy until disaster struck.

Currently

After Toshinori's first battle with AFO Kori was extremely worried about him,though she did her best to stay strong.It wasn't long after that during his stay in the hospital that Kori was attacked,nearly being killed and almost losing their unborn baby. Toshi held so much guilt,he blamed himself as the attack forced Kori into an early retirement due to the severe seizures she suffered as a result of the attack. Kori always assures him she doesn't blame him for the attack,that nothing will ever make her stop loving him.Even after their son ran away,angry and blaming his father for what happened to his mother,Kori never blamed Toshinori for a second.Now,after Toshinoris retirement the two are focused on each other,and their daughters and hoping one day their son will come to his senses.
