fussy . scavenger . docile but likes to bite bite

𝖔𝖈𝖈𝖚𝖕𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓 this snow yam was somehow tranformed into a sentient being. It spends its days foraging for its favorite foods and exploring the snowy woodlands, unless it is sleeping away the warmer months (estivation). Likes to bury itself in fresh snow with only its leaves sticking out to camoflauge itself from would-be predators. Somewhat timid, but can be won over with snacks from a gentle hand.

𝖎𝖓𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖊𝖘𝖙𝖘 seeds and root vegetables, raw fish and eggs, burrowing into earth and snow, clear skies, pine forests, farmland, napping.

𝖓𝖔𝖙𝖊𝖘 although it has no eyes, it has an extremely keen sense of smell and the ability to 'see' temperature gradients in its environment (ie, thermal vision).
