PERSONALITY

Although shy and easily startled, Charon is also generally upbeat and approachable. He is (perhaps exceedingly) curious,  and eager to see and learn as much as he can as he meets new people+pokemon and travels to new places. Though he is polite and ever-so chivalrous, with etiquette coming second nature to him (a result of his overbearing childhood), he also has a habit of acting quite spoiled and entitled– often forgetting that not everyone lives to serve him, and that his status as the child of a dignitary does not follow him everywhere. Typically, though, he is quick to correct himself about this particular bad habit.

Given his rather meek nature, Charon is also an emotional person, and is easily moved to sniffling tears by things that are touching or sad, by frustration or anger, or even just mildly offended. He doesn't like to admit it, but he is something of a crybaby for someone of his adult age, and the flow of tears he usually cannot control causes him a great bit of embarrassment when he is around strangers and/or people he admires.

Fearless and outgoing, Kumo seems to pick up slack where his trainer is lacking in the courage department. He will run head-on into the face of danger to help or protect others-- but mostly his trainer, Charon, whom he will do anything to guard (oft to the point of being overprotective). Kumo also likes to do small tasks that he hopes people will find helpful, both for the satisfaction of performing them, and in hopes of being rewarded with affection or food.
