Shin Sasagae, along with his twin sister Suzu,  are two young pilots in the Novus Orbis Librarium Air Corps. Despite  their career choice the two are both extensively trained in combat as  well. Their odd jack-of-all-trades skillset is not one entirely of their  choice however, a great expectation looms over them as the head of the  Hazuki house grows old and is desperate to find an heir that he feels  truly is suitable as his predecessor. So far, nobody quite fits the  title yet.

Shin fights with ars thread like his father, he isn't much of a fighter  so he primarily focuses on restraining anyone who tries to pick a fight  with him (much to Suzu's annoyance, who wishes he would just finish  people off.)

Personality:

- Polite but rather quiet external persona, usually just follows Suzu's lead
- Internally fairly calculating and perceptive. Has a sharp eye for small details most people don't notice
- Actually pretty overconfident in abilities at times, most of his  mistakes come from simply overestimating how little he has to do.
- A good voice impersonator, mostly from pre-t voice training, but even  during transition somehow retained all of his impersonating abilities.
