Tallis is a graduate student at Praque's largest university. She is silly and a little bit awkward, much more skilled at schoolwork than at interacting with other people, and she's reluctant to leave academia. In school, she's like all of these other people. Outside of school... well, it's hard to say. She doesn't know what's out there.

Tallis is studying history -- a challenge after an apocalypse that destroyed so many records, but still one that she believes is worth pursuing. She loves old paper books and the idea of a lower-tech world, despite the reality that she couldn't live without her PDA. In her free time, she TAs for Arius, who teaches philosophy. While their conversations are interesting, Tallis isn't sure she's capable of grasping the grittier aspects of logic or reason.
