backstory
Vampirism in this world an infectious disease causing people to consume flesh and blood of others and take on a corpse-like appearane. At fourteen, Elijah and his twin sister, Elvira, were attacked by their parents because of this disease and barely escaped, being turned into vampires too. For the next 7 years, the two lived by themselves off animal blood and whatever they could find.
Elijah himself took on working with a commander of the military, who secretly employed vampires to carry out her work. However, she grew fond of Elijah due to his young age and eventually relieved him of taking on assassin work and blah ill refine this later :)
