spiderplague

hailing from earth-16278, spiderplague is one of manhattan’s last lines of defense against evil.

born at a time of unprecedented warfare and aggression, spiderplague was, much like xyr fellow citizens of manhattan, caught in the crossfire of a gene-altering atomic bomb, developed by alchemax, the world’s leading scientific corporation. where many died, more evolved. spiderplague was one of those people. xyr family were not. although originally rather healthy, spiderplague’s cells were rapidly mutating and evolving, eventually leading to a new power: limb regeneration.

this wouldn’t be all of spiderplague’s changes, however. a bite from a radioactive spider began changing his genetic makeup once more, creating a being half human, half spider. a spider-man.

spiderplague spends xyr time fighting mutated oppontents such as doc ock, venom, the lizard, and more. xe would later on join the spider society, making friends at a distance. he quits during the events of ASTV, siding with miles although keeping xyr hands clean of everything.
