Sock dragons are essencially big companion pets for children, but they can become friends for lifetime. Most of the times, sock dragons are big, handmade plushies done by the mother, grandma, or someone near to the child, who doesn't want the child to have nightmares. So, sock dragons work as a pillow while hugging the child, letting them know that they are not alone and avoiding nightmares
