"You... infuriate me."

Erziel has almost never failed to keep with, and best, any of his targets. If Salvatore has requested someone tracked or dead, Erziel has done it. The first & only exception to this has been Nakida Ivanov, of the Ivanov Family. After an infuriating & long game of cat-and-mouse, Erziel has since bowed out, and struck a precarious deal with Salvatore. So long as Nakida has no hand in further sabotaging the Golden House's dealings, he can live.

"...No, I don't remember anything."

There is the faintest memory in a crevice of his mind. Under a therapist's detailed eye, they have told him this is repression & dissociation at play—hence the reason he cannot remember most of the town's happenings. Though, the others express that their memories were foggy at first too—so is the sickening side affect of something else's attempt to erase your very self. But changing the story is never that simple.

Briefly was the threat that hung over Alisdair's home. A Hellbeast, something that did not belong, which threatened his livestock & his own safety. As one of the first to catch wind of it, Erziel arrived almost as soon as the soldiers did—and only a little earlier than the beast itself did. The fight that ensued to trap or kill it was devestating; and was the first time Erziel realized he could come to truly doubt his abilities.
