Description: The Cryptid-loving pyromaniac, Tyra is a harvester who has been a member of FXNGs since its inception. Alongside working with FXNG, Tyra was never one to hold down a stable job, most of the time opting to work part time as a florist in his sister's shop. They are easygoing, and one of the groups more active mission-going field agents. They tend to prioritize the needs of others over their own, and go out of their way to help close friends. Tyra fixates on the paranormal, and has a lot of interest in manifestations and such. They like to read books and articles for their own research, and like to craft their own theories when it comes to the link between favors and manifestations. She is loyal, sincere, and with close friends loves to crack witty jokes and be sarcastic. They are also sympathetic and sincere when it comes to the concerns of their close friends, however they do carry rather impulsive tendencies.
Tyra presents rather androgynously, dressing in an alternative style as they wear pretty much both masculine and feminine clothes. They stand at 6 feet tall, with long and uneven reddish brown hair. They have red eyes, pale skin, and have a multitude of burn scars on their skin. They have multiple piercings as well (wip)
Born in Norway to a fairly unremarkable family which uprooted to America for a business opportunity, and with a mother frequently absent due to trips for work, most of Tyra’s childhood consisted of time spent with his father and sibling, Tilly. Tyra was sort of a troublemaker, often getting both himself and Tilly in trouble. Around his teenage years, Tyra began presenting more androgynously and eventually came out as gay to his father and sibling. This inspired Tilly to come out as trans when they were both around 15 for Tyra and 23 for Tilly. Sadly, their mother kicks Tilly out in response, and Tyra subsequently comes out to her and runs off with Tilly. Their father sided with their mother. They were homeless together for a time, until Tilly’s online friend Quin found them an affordable spot to share in the city of Roceyii on (name pending) island. It is worth noting that control of one’s favor is largely tied to their emotional state, and for a time after their running away he had extremely limited access to his fire
Aen is an entity that is bound to Tyra eternally. It is a deity that served under the deity of chaos, and had been sealed in a book as punishment for defying the chaos deity, Misfit. Tyra found the book in a restricted area of the library he frequents. When they read the book Aen became bound to his soul, and is now a part of them. Tyra has mixed emotions about the deity. Aen does take over Tyra's body sometimes, causing chaos and mayhem to it's delight. But mostly Aen shows up when Tyra feels fear, as some sort of defense mechanism. Aen can enhance Tyra's already powerful favor, and can be a massive threat.
Relationships:
Tilly Evjen: his sister- a trans woman. He ran away with her when she was kicked out of their home by their mom for her identity as a trans woman. He now frequently helps out at the flower shop she co-owns. Currently, she is the only family he has, and they are fiercely protective of each other. Tyra feels positively towards her, and loves doing favors for her if he is able.
Quin Myung - A close friend of Tilly’s who Tyra grew closer with once he helped them out of homelessness by offering to split an apartment with them, fronting most of the money to start while they adjust. when he moves to Roceyii for a job opportunity teaching while they work to form a stable life for themselves. Tyra thinks that he is a huge nerd, but feels fond about him. They are very thankful for all of his help and support.
Tae Myung - The first person their age that Tyra became acquainted with after moving to Roceyii, and the first queer person he meets whom he can relate to- leading to a fast friendship and bond. Tae can often appear flustered by the others presence- a fact which Tyra remains quite ignorant of. They’ve never been bored by the other’s company, and share many common interests. Tyra likes being around Tae a lot, unsure of what his deeper feelings could mean.
Kyle Santiago - A very close friend of Tae and Tyra, when he inherits a home he invites the two of them to live there with him. They happily accept so as not to burden Quin and Tilly any longer. Tyra treasures him as a close friend, and often mess around with eachother.
Ashley Wu - A childhood friend of Tyra’s who needed to escape from a tumultuous living situation of her own. When Tyra repeatedly extends an invitation for the other to move into Kyle’s place with her own room, she eventually gives in. She is recruited into FXNG shortly after its founding, upon Tyra and Jazzy’s request. Tyra finds her a little intimidating, but enjoys sharing a sense of style and interests together!
Jazzy Kaiwi - Another childhood friend of Tyra’s, she moves to Roceyii to be reunited with Tyra and her now-girlfriend Ashley. They urge Tyra to allow them to join FXNG after finding out about it, becoming the 4th member to join and shortly after recruiting Ashley to be the fifth. Tyra and Jazzy are close friends, often going on walks or playing some games huddled up in the couch.
Eiko Nakamura - Tyra’s best friend since high school, they later went on to establish FXNG, making them both cofounders. They both rely greatly on the other and, much to the ire of others, make frequent use of their favors for their entertainment or gain. They're ride or dies, sharing their deepest and darkest secrets with eachother and working together to overcome a lot of obstacles together
Mehdi Ismael - Met through playing sports after school, they become close bros. Tyra approaches Mehdi to become the leader of team FXNG. Mehdi accepts, having the most experience out of the group in dealing with manifestations. They enjoy spending time throwing the silliest competitions with one another.
Arwa Malik - Capable of being quite the tease, over time she becomes a manager of sorts of Tyra. She's a little intimidating to them, and often jokes around with Tyra.
Jasie Porrirson - Despite being a friend of Tyra’s, he seems to frequently antagonize him. Tyra thinks he can be a jerk sometimes, but still sticks by his side.
Piper Abede - Becomes acquainted with Tyra after saving him and Eiko from a manifestation attack. They spend time in her family owned cat cafe, hanging out!
Nadia Mansouri - Tyra’s sister-in-law. They also seem to frequently antagonize him. Chaotic duo energy.
