Decay

Physical Description:

Decay is more of a Frankenstein/zombie creature. His fur is charcoal and carries some navy blue markings on his ears, hands and feet. His face and tail are all bone and his ribs are visible as the fur and flesh look as though they have been rotted or ripped off. He has a small patch of fur at the end of his tail. Muscle and lungs are visible beneath his ribs. Long claws protrude from his feet.

Clothing:

Usually nothing. Most of his fur has covered most of his body.

Personality:

Quiet and reserved, he keeps to himself. He has a nervous desire to maintain peace in situations of confrontation. Decay can warm up to new people and can be quite a fighter if the moon strikes right. Decay can be nervous and paranoid around fires and various forms of magic. He tries to make himself appear simple often by his short responses and lack of verbal elaboration. He loves the adrenaline of fights and while he does not actively seek conflict, he does welcome it.

History:

Decay’s real name was Zachary before he died. He came about from a necromancer’s ceremony to wake the dead. He had been camping in the woods with his pack-mates and they began to get separated one by one. As he continued to search for his friends, he came upon a ritual being performed by warlocks and witches.

He had found his friends being buried alive, burned, sliced and marked; once they spotted him, they dragged him to the center of the ritual. There he was brutally mauled to pieces leaving him every limb had been broken, all his skin ripped and shredded. Once he was pronounced dead, a necromancer by the name of Mortimer placed a spell on him to bring him back; a creature nothing more than bones and rotting flesh known as Decay, he has been wondering the forests and streets at night.
