Maru, born July 4th, is a super sweet and outgoing fruit bat who has bad eyesight and lives in a library, she loves to read books, watch fireworks, eat various kinds of fruit, listen to music while doing activities, and cleaning her library/books. She hates coffee, people being loud while she is trying to read, when people don't take proper care of her books, mushrooms, and being sick.

Maru owns her own library so she makes many friends with the people who constantly come back and have a good reputation of taking good care of her books and returning them on time and these people get to call Maru by any of her nicknames.
