Althea Irons, she/her, 5'4", age 15
Althea Irons is best described as a cartoon villain mad scientist- because that's exactly what she is. Althea is evil in both a genuine mad-scientist unethical way, but also evil in the way only teenage girls can be. In the Hella region (based on Greece), she is one of the primo members of the science-oriented half of Team Solid Gold, the signature evil team of Hella, bent on turning the Solarpunk region back to capitalism. Not everyone wants that, though, which is why scrappy 12-year-old Pokemon training heroes like Cyan Nora and Mallory Iz'm end up fighting her on a semi-regular basis.
She hasn't won a single time and keeps getting "blasted off again" into the sky, but like any good villainous side-character, she just keeps coming back with bigger and better inventions- including but not limited to pokeballs dealing status effects, a taser, a zap cannon, and a giant robot shaped like an Alolan Raichu. Of course, we also can't ignore the contributions of her incredibly round Raichu, Porkchop, who she shares matching goggles with.
Hobbies include creating creatures that shouldn't see the light of day, resurrecting dead species, engineering questionable contraptions, bullying the Team Solid Gold grunts, just so much experimentation, and obsessing over how to get back at her ex girlfriend- and the rivals in her incredibly one-sided rivalry with them.
