Machiavelli- a relatively mild-mannered forensic pathologist with a paranoid streak. Exists within VtM (Vampire the Masquerade), and is entirely mortal. So far, he's not even aware of the general existence of vampires- but he's coming rather close. He'll have to reckon with it eventually; his girlfriend got Definitely Murdered by one of their kind, though he's not aware of the latter fact. He's only a little* still sad about it. The unsolved case and potential murderer still on the loose is only driving him a little* bit mad.

Though he might not be aware of it, he's interacted with a couple of vampires already. He interacts with the supernatural comically frequently, in fact.
