Bleeding out, running low on time, a lowly poet was darting through the woods. Having suffered gruesome injuries, there were no chances of recovery, but it seems they had eluded their attacker. Looking around, despererately, they noticed the only friend still accompanying them were the foods they'd run into. The poet, as a finale of their life, decided to spend their last waking moments, carefully etching a final stanza into an wise dead tree, which cradled their body oh so carefully.

Once the poet had passed on, the tree was ever grateful for the beautiful words carved into its spine. To thank the poet, the tree's spirit combined with the powerful words of the poet to create a new life -- which named itself Foal. Foal still thinks highly of that poet, although they never got to meet -- considering them their parent. Foal aims to be approachable to everyone, always offering to do work, no matter how grueling, as long as some sort of compensation can be provided. Their reputation proceeds them.
