Sean Gelle is a young octoling/sea angel hybrid from Splatsville (the area from Splatoon 3) who owns a humble traditional restaurant in the area alongside his boyfriend Chao Teek. Business booms during splatfests, as their restaurant is found near the main lobby, and while Deep Cut perform for all the civilians Sean works dilligently to satisfy all the customers while his boyfriend entertains them.

When not at his restaurant, he puts on some mildly fashionable casual clothes on and prefers to relax. He’s extroverted, and gets along well with people around him, but isn't one to attend parties often. He also prefers not to take part in Turf Wars or Ranked Battles. He's a bit weak due to his Sea Angel genetics, and can't produce the colorful ink the participants need to use for the battles, causing him to only shoot out washed out colors, but he's happy to continue serving clients at his restaurant instead.

He's been in a relationship with Chao Teek for over 2 years now after helping him escape from the Deepsea Metro so he wouldn't become a brainwashed zombie soldier. He had heard rumors of the experiments going on in the underbelly of society with some of his fellow Octolings, so he got on the Deepsea Metro, where he met Chao for the first time. Both of them fell in love almost immediately, and though he wasn't able to expose that whole dark side of society, he convinced Chao to escape, and they've been living together ever since.
