When it comes to work, Clementine tries to do as little as possible to get by. He spends more time trying to figure out how to do something for as little time as possible than doing much. They enjoy planning out their tasks, finding pleasure in simplifying and expediting tasks. However, when it comes to its interpersonal relationships, it is much more likely to work. Ey are very compassionate and good at finding ways for everyone to end up equally happy. For that reason, Clementine is often considered a social leader by the creatures around xir.
Clementine doesn't remember anything before she fell. Not his name, identity, or why he was barred from Above. Without any other place to go, they ended up finding shelter in a labratory that worked with hybrid, sentient animals. It fit right in alongside everyone in the lab, and quickly associated itself in everyone else's business. The creatures around em named em Clementine, one of the fruits that they had regular access to. Xe slipped into comfy clothes, finding that the easiest way to get by was to do as little as possible. (Xe saw xir friends doing too much and not getting rewarded for it. Useless!) So, he began to be known for being sociable with the other creatures, but dismissing and flippant with any officials he came across. She doesn't mind that being her legacy, though, preferring any positive attention to be genuine and from a personal connection, not a work one.
The first creature Clementine met after admitting herself into the lab. Nebo has been constantly supportive, though Clem thinks it is a little too comfortable with the life it leads. They bond over card games and both of them not knowing much life outside of the lab.
Calamity and Clementine share similar mindsets when it comes to life in the lab. Clementine loves hearing about earthly life outside of the beige walls, and Calamity never seems to run out of stories. They can butt heads from time to time, but it typically ends up being based on friendly disagreements or joke arguements.
Dismal apparently came only a few weeks before Clementine, and has seemed to hold an uncommunicated grudge against them ever since. The two of them will sit at a table together, and Clementine tries to reach out, but her attempts are met with general disdain. He isn't sure what he did to make xir so upset, but he tries not to take it personally. It seemed to happen before xe knew who it was, so it couldn't be a flaw of its, is how it tries to reason the neglect.
