Wardrobe; Breena dresses in simple, practical clothes for travelling and fighting in. Dark leather boots and loose pants and shirts that give her plenty of room to move are a staple of her outfits. She will often smarten an ensemble up with a waistcoat and bow. As a drow who struggles in the sun, she often wears a hat with a wide brim, as well as a sun parasol to help block the irritating sun.

Before Bazzoxan was a hellscape of demons, it was a small flourishing town where Breena lived with her two parents. They were simple farmers, settlers from Rosohna who had come to make a more independent life for themselves. For the first fourteen years of her life, Breena grew up happily, a normal little girl. It wasn’t until a rampaging purple worm swallowed her father whole that things began to take a turn for the worse. While her mother was still alive, she abandoned Breena at the local temple and fled, perhaps broken by the loss of her lover.
The temple to the Luxon took very good care of Breena. She was one of a small handful of orphans and foundlings that the church raised. Though it was a somewhat clinical environment under the care of the priests, Breena grew as close as siblings to the other wards of the church. When they came of age, many of them chose to enter into the service of the Luxon priesthood, though a few of them did leave to follow other callings. Breena chose the path of priesthood, though. She was adept with healing, both medical and magical. During her training as an acolyte, however, the city of Bazzoxan was overrun by demons and destroyed.
She had managed to escape, but not everyone did. The survivors were relocated to other temples elsewhere in Xorhas. Breena was separated from many of her close friends at this time, as she was sent to one of the temples in Asarius. Although she was not pleased, Breena had little say in the matter. She was only a thirty-four year old acolyte at the time, after all. Regardless, settling in Asarius was good for Breena. It felt like a fresh start.
One of the healers at the temple Breena came to took a liking to her, and took Breena as an apprentice. The healer, Gormin Motters, a goblin man, was brusque and no-nonsense, but an excellent doctor. Breena’s quiet demeanour and dedicated work ethic meshed well with him, and she learned much from him. And when the war between the Kryn Empire and the Dwendalian Empire broke out, Gormin was one of the first clerics of the Luxon to volunteer his services on the battlefield. Although Breena was hesitant, she followed Gormin to be his aide.
Life as a battlefield medic was hell for Breena, short and simple. She saw things that she will never forget, and although she saved many lives, she still feels the loss of the many many people who died keenly. Her breaking point was when Gormin was hit by a ballista bolt and she was unable to save his life during the battle. When he died, Breena was shocked so badly that her commanding officer sent her back to the temple in Asarius. Still, for her service she was given the second name Lymiira, meaning Herald of Light.
Heartsick from the loss of someone so important to her, Breena eventually left the temple as well a few years later. Like Bazzoxan, it had many memories of the people who had left her, and while she could take solace in the fact that Gormin’s soul was reborn into someone else and they might meet again, she still struggled. Breena needed a change, needed something lighter in her life. For a time, she moved to Rosohna, reconnected with a few of her childhood friends from the temple, and met her parent’s families for the first time. While her father’s family was rather distant, feeling that they had little to do with Breena so far and intended to keep the status quo, she quickly became close with her maternal family, Den Kilirym. While they had also not heard from her mother in many years, her grandparents were welcoming of Breena. Den Kilirym was not on the tier of the noble Dens by any means, but they were a well established family in their own right.
Still, Breena did not settle in Rosohna for more than a dozen years. Her heart was restless for something more, and she set out to travel, to wander, and to meet more people. It was then that she met and saved Nesma, and the two began to travel together.

Nesma Sarraf
Relationship: Party Members/I Can Fix Her
Breena picked Nesma up from a swamp where Nesma was being a freaky evil swamp warlock, and had attracted the ire of the locals. Breena had originally been requested to kill Nesma, but believed that there was more to Nesma than evil. She asked Nesma to leave with her, and is now trying to cement herself as Nesma's morality pet.
