July 13, 23. They/it/he. The Firekeeper, sometimes just called "Firekeeper", is something that everybody just sort of knows about. One old guy even told him he shouldn't be scared (of a dark hallway, mind) because he was genetically prepared for this. I mean, he's The Firekeeper! They'd been genetically optimized over centuries for their job. Despite the name, Firekeeper did absolutely no firekeeping throughout the entire dream. He did try to go shopping only to realize he forgot his wallet at home (and was broke anyway) and accidentally hit massive black cows with sticks. The cows were a whole thing. They were all over the place and then, after he dropped a really tall stick on one, they all woke up and started terrorizing the children he was interacting with. He had to hide in somebody else's house and then their mom was mad... It was a nightmare
