Pea

Pea is a 24 year old college student living in Seattle with her friends D'jango, Minerva, Blue, Cyan, Teya, Saffron, Lazarus, and Finnley in the same apartment complex. She's best friends with D'jango and has been since they met in her Freshman year of highschool. You'll always see her with D'jango or her cousin Piero who she's incredibly close with and lived with since she was 1 year old until she moved out at 19. Even though she's an only child she was raised like an older sister, and it shines through in her personality. She's big on respect and has a distaste for people that disregard that sort of thing. She's studying to be a cosmetologist and loves it, especially the nail tech aspect. She also works part-time as a Starbucks Barista. Community is very important to her and you will rarely ever see her not having incredible coversations with her classmates, clients, customers, friends, teachers, or anyone she meets. She's rarely ever alone unless she's at her apartment getting ready for bed - even then most of the time she'll have D'jango or Piero with her. She's super friendly with everybody but has very few close friends, keeping most people at an arms length. She loves to bond over music and fashion, two hobbies she's very passionate about.

Pea is a nickname shes carried since childhood, it's not her given first name but nobody ever uses it or knows it except family and teachers. It's always Pea unless she's in trouble. She is a 2nd Generation immigrant and was born and raised in Seattle with her parents and uncle, Piero's father. Her grandparents on both sides live in Peru and they make an effort to visit them every Summer. Her and all her family speak Spanish with eachother as her and Piero are the only ones fluent in English. They're commonly seen speaking Spanish with eachother in public or around friends when they want to talk shit or just because they always have. She greatly values her personal space despite always being around people which is why she chose to live alone. She's nearly always in a good mood and is incredibly friendly, warm and kind to everyone she meets, and it's not uncommon for her to tell or listen to incredibly personal stories with strangers. She's very humble but self confident and has a very strong sense of self and moral code, and is one of the first people many others choose to go to for advice - and she's always willing to help and listen. She has a face tattoo of a butterfly and incorporates many butterfly motifs into her fashion, interior design or anything else really as they're her favourite animal. She thinks they are incredibly beautiful and finds great personal connection and relatability with their naturally skittish nature, the metaphor of metamorphosis, the butterfly effect, and many other traits and motifs.

Dream 01: She wants to be a hairdresser and nail tech and dreams to open her own business one day.
