Amir is a very down-to-earth and literal boy, who has a tendency to miss social cues, making him kind of awkward. Jokes usually go over his head and he doesn't find himself laughing a lot. Due to not having the best parental roles in life (His parents divorced, and his Dad and Stepdad usually spent their days and nights out together rather than taking proper care of Amir and his younger sister) he's had to mature early, to make sure him and his sister were taken care of.

At the age of 14 Amir got a job to further support him and his sibling. He never got to really have friends in highschool. After highschool he went directly into college, ad his sister went to live with their Mom. He's studying to become a social worker.
