Chalthyx is a bit of a hardass and knows it. She's got a strict code of ethics and doesn't take kindly to those who break it. But most of the hardassery is a bit of a show. At heart, Chalthyx has a lot of big sister-mom energy with a need to protect those closest to her, she just chooses to protect more with her spear than her shield.
Getting to know Chalthyx truly is not the easiest task, as she's slow to let people in. A lifetime of losses and a refusal to lose again does that to any Glarandaran girl. But fight at her side and earn her trust, and you'll get a glimpse of the girl before the war took her underwing.

- Chalthyx is a tall and lithe, muscular woman with medium-dark brown skin.
- Brown eyes, usually set in a glare.
- Long brown hair often worn down.
- Her shield, armor, and spear are each magically engraved with a magic rune.
- Her magic allows her to grow to the size of a giant temporarily when activated. Normally she stands at 6'3" or 191cm.
The War
Living against the border of the lich ruled country of Thay, Chalthyx has seen her fair share of war and suffering at the hands of dark mages. To protect Glarandar and their home, Chalthyx and her brother Ziv took up arms with local forces to defend the area. For a time, that became their normal, joining regular patrols and sweeps of the border to make sure the liches kept their magic out of their home.
When Ziv was struck down in battle with a Thayan war mage, what little love Chal had in her heart for the good of magic was lost. Picking up his spear, she vowed to put a stop to any mage who dared to use their magic — especially necromancy — to do evil. But one woman with a spear isn't usually enough to put a stop to the likes of liches.
While not a religious woman, Chalthyx found a bit of refuge with a magically inclined circle of clergy. The Order of Alathrien Druanna, an elven goddess of runes and magic, allowed her to study with them for a time and hone a skillset that would allow her to stand toe to toe with even the most competent of mages. Now she travels under their banner, an inquisitor in their name, looking to deal with the sort of mages who give the rest of their kind a bad name.
CONTACT
When Chal needs a little more information than she can find on a target, she reaches out to Palla'as, a drow with his eyes on everything. And when he needs a little extra brute force to take down a demon lord, Pal calls in Chalthyx. And with demon lords on the rise, they're seeing a little more of each other than before.
CRIMINAL ?
While Chalthyx knows not every mage is a bastard in need of a grave, Ignol really just finds ways to push her buttons. If not a grave, the eccentric elf needs a babysitter — at least. And she does not have the patience for that without the grave option coming into play.
