Cain

Cain is a Poltergeist Lumythew. He died young, just a year or two into the Solar and Lunar Movement war. He lived in a small village with his parents and his brother, Abel. One day, Ravana and a whole bunch of his Lunar soldiers appeared, and took over the village. Those who were not slaughtered already were forced to join Ravana’s allegiance, or join the aforementioned slaughtered lumythew. Abel was able to get away and took refuge in the Angelic Empire, while Cain had not. Cain was forced to become a solider for Ravana, yet he never developed any Fallen traits, unlike some others in his village. Cain was forced into battle with an Angelic legion, and he saw his brother in the fight. He and Abel made eye contact, but Cain only saw hatred in his brother’s eyes, and Abel leaped onto Cain and battled him. Cain, in order to save himself, had to kill his brother before his brother could kill him, yet an Angelic lumythew, upon seeing what had happened, asked no questions and killed Cain as he was cowering over his dead brother’s body. Cain awoke and found himself in the same field he was injured in. He noticed his wounds were healed, but then he saw his own dead body by his brother’s, and he began to weep, he wept so much that he developed his first revenant trait, mist tears. He connected with a familiar spirit, and allowed a spirit to possess his tail, as all Cain wanted in his afterlife was some company. As the years went by, he slowly forgot more and more about himself, and gained more and more revenant traits, but he never stopped crying all the while. Today, he is a Poltergeist and remembers not what had happened to him, but he continuously grieves for the life he lost, and the parts of himself he continues to lose I’m his death. 

Notes: He is never overly happy, and sometimes, if a Lumythew is lost enough, Cain will appear to guide them to safety, unless if they are Fallen.
