Charles is a kind and happy man, happily married to his sweet and beautiful wife Victoria, and loving both of their little girls, the oldest being 9, and the youngest being 5. As for his occupation, Charles is part of The Choir and used to work for it's orphanage for years, though not a scholar unlike some of his close friends, he served as a doctor for the young, and as a professor for it's older students and aspiring scholars. He really took pleasure in his work, and really enjoyed making the small and young orphans happy in this sorrow filled place. But he quickly distanced himself of his position in the orpanage when a disturbing incident took place during the brain surgery of a young girl. He and other doctors stood around the silver surgical table on which she lay, unconscious from all the anaesthetics. The surgery went fine and well, until the little girl suddenly awoke in a panic. The doctors shouted and yelled at each other, trying to keep her down as she frantically screamed and trashed around. She fell off the high table, and her small forehead hit an edge of the nearby surface filled with bloody tools. Everyone was suddenly quiet as blood began to pool, and no one dared move a muscle. This is why Charles stopped to work for the orphanage directly, now only being a professor giving lectures, and taking yet again a great interest in his side hobby, being botany, the study of plants and flowers. This also sparked an interest in Lumenflowers.
