Vautu is an angry child who feels like he just doesn't belong. He lives in a colony known for having the rare fire traits. His father took on a mate from outside of the colony and unfortunately, Vautu took after her trait-wise. Because of this he somewhat resents his parents and feels like an outsider. This actually isn't the case, only a few Khajems jeer at him for his traits and the rest are generally rather accepting, but Vautu has a skewed perspective. He's rather insecure as a result and tends to lash out, constantly getting into fights and arguments.
