Other
  • He can speak telepathically. He has mastered lip syncing in his human illusion, so that it looks like he is actually speaking.
  • He doesn't like pokeballs at all. He'll go as far as to avoid touching them, distance himself from them, or even run away if he sees one.
  • As a human, his tail is still visible. He passes it off as clothing or an accessory, though.
  • He may have a weird sense of clothing style, as he purely goes for what feels nice.

Backstory
Soren used to live in the wild with his mother. He was left to fend for himself when his mother had been captured one day, never to be seen again. He patiently waited for her to come back after a night or two, but he began to wander away once he became hungry. While on the search for food, he stumbled upon a human with their Pokémon, enjoying quality time together and sharing a loving bond. It looked like pure happiness to him. He had never seen such a scene like this before.
Over the next few days, the image of a Pokémon enjoying time with a human constantly stuck to his mind. It made him think. He even thought that maybe his mother was in the same situation, and perhaps she just preferred a new life with humans. He became very curious. It was to the point where he began inching closer to settlements, watching and studying humans. He practiced and learned how to fit in through illusions -- and it worked! Now disguised as a human, there were so many new things for him to discover. There were different foods, games, and cool things to do.
He began living more as a human by day, then returned home as a Pokémon by night. He would find himself coming back with all sorts of collectables and souvenirs. He lived in his own new, fun little world.
