Runepaw is a half clan apprentice since his father Fawndapple was clanborn and yet his mother was a rogue. This makes him have to work twice as hard to earn the respect and approval of his clanmates- initially when his father brought him and his sister into the clan as kits, the clan was in outrage as his mother was part of the gang that nearly destroyed them but his outgoing personality and affectionate demeanour quickly won over the heart of his clanmates. His mentor is Redclaw, who gets easily frustrated when teaching him new things because Runepaw has little patience to sit and listen to his mentor's instructions. He is mischevious and often gets caught sneaking out to have a taste of twoleg food much to the dissapointment of his clan leader and Redclaw, who tried to dissuade him from doing that ever again. Even though he is half rogue, his loyalty will always lie with his clan.
