Takehiko is a diligent man who often prefers to have control, often in how things are done, such as organizing, planning, and so on. He tends to get started on and finish tasks before considering to wait and see if anyone else will get it done, which results in a lot of stress that he puts upon himself.

He exhibits a short temper which is usually struck when he doesn't have complete control over something, whether it be an ineveitable circumstance like the weather, or someone disagreeing with him on certain things like battle strategy or other crucial decisions. He strains to keep any potential outbursts to himself, though it always comes out eventually no matter how hard he tries to bottle it up. Takehiko displays immense guilt when this happens, being no stranger to the habit of profuse apologizing.

Takehiko's emotions are usually quite intense, and so he can be a handful for those unaccustomed to those like himself. Positively so, he is a gracious and kind soul, feeling a strong connection to those around him and a fervent desire to be helpful. While he can be controlling, he is quite wise for his age, delivering consistently great advice and serving as the voice of reason.

In general, Takehiko has an apathetic disposition and such does not emote very often outside of brief moments of anger and frustration or excitement. Some might say he has a "thousand yard stare" of sorts when left to his own devices, going on for varying amounts of time before getting back to the task he was occupied with previously.

Spirit Bomb

Takehiko's strongest ability which works just as it's name suggests- a devastating explosion of pure spectral fire aligned aether, charged deep within his tubed bamboo weapon. As it is an energy-intensive ability, it takes quite a long time to charge which leaves Takehiko vulnerable. He will often lay low to the ground and position his weapon much like you would a cannon, aiming and preparing to strike. Oftentimes, the Spirit Bomb functions well as a finishing move.

Spectral Flight

Using built up spectral fire, Takehiko can mount his bamboo weapon much like a witch upon a broomstick and take flight. As the energy usage is limited, he cannot fly infinitely- great for covering short distances easily, such as clearing ravines, traveling above bodies of water such as lakes, or some other hazardous landscapes and conditions. As he is airborne, blue spectral fire will be flaring from the back opening of the bamboo weapon, causing severe burning damage to anything close behind.

Ethereal Possession

As Takehiko allowed Delesiend to take over his soul, he is capable of transforming into a kitsune when Delesiend returns to him. He can only preform this ability when Delesiend enters Takehiko's body, unable to transform if they are seperated. In his kitsune form, Takehiko trades magical profiency for raw physical strength and enhanced speed as well as agility. This transformation can last for as long as Delesiend wishes, as Takehiko has no real control due to waiving rights to his soul.

Kitsune's Protection

Takehiko may use spectral fire to shield himself from other magicks, increasing his magical resistance to all aether types except for nirutian (light and dark). As this is an innate ability, it is constantly active, though as he transforms he will trade most of it's effectiveness for boosts in his physical abilities.

Takehiko is a human male hailing from the Dracrisan region, a beautiful landscape off to the east known for it's mega flora and most importantly the Tree of Wrotha. With miles of expansive shade the Tree of Wrotha provides shelters hundreds of villages and towns, one of which is Takehiko's birthplace. It is known as the village of Nahoroot.

He practices a mostly sedentary lifestyle though he is not without his hobbies. Often he indulges in activities that are low-maintenance and rather calm. Takehiko is rarely seen doing anything strenous, opting to laze around for the most part and prefers to be left to his own devices. He repeatedly goes out of his way to avoid social contact, shutting himself in his home or hiding away if people begin grouping up somewhere or make attempts to approach.
