ABOUT

Taffie is a hybrid of a mosasaur, borealopelta, and sinosauropteryx. She's mostly just my fursona, there isn't much in terms of a backstory or world she belongs in, lol. She's relatively cheery, but quiet and silly. Her fur is very long and fluffy, even on her tail. Her body shape is that of a theropod, hence the sinosauropteryx DNA. That same DNA is also what gives her the stripes on her tail. Because of this theropod body design, her palms point inward, but don't let that paleo-accurate aspect of her design keep you from artistic and stylistic freedom. Her thick head shape and tail fin are from her mosasaur DNA. Though stylized, her head shape mostly mimics that of a mosasaur, namely a tylosaurus with their blunt but long and thick noses and their more upward-facing nostrils. She's specialized for eating fish. The spikes all along her body are of the borealopelta, especially the large ones on her shoulders. They're made of bone like a normal nodosaur's spikes, but for the sake of stylization, they can be made softer (as long as they're still present, that's very important) The speckles and white curly hairs along her body are stylized; if she were "real", she would have plushie vibes. Feel free to depict what you would consider those sorts of vibes in any way you like, like stitches, etc. The patches on her knees and blue undereye spots are reminiscent of me! The patches on her knees are meant to show more of that plushie aspect of her while paying homage to some nasty scars I have from a near-death experience a year ago. Same with the eye spots; they're cute and give her almost a panda vibe, but they're because of my perpetual eye bags lol Her pupils are white hearts!
