Profile

Gwakee is my current D&D character.

He is a 1.5ft tall brown and grey Owlfolk, similar to a barred owl. He wears dark robes that drag as he walks. He uses his staff as a walking stick, and often carries his spellbook under a wing.

Alignment: Lawful good.
Faith: Avia, the Goddess of Air and Love.
Background: Acolyte

  • Personality Traits:
    • My curiosity can sometimes get the better of me.
    • I've read every book I've encountered, or at least, the ones I've encountered when things were calm.
    • I can be a bit too literal, and often have a hard time understanding jokes.
    • I want to be friends with people, but I'm not the most charming of birds. I'll still try!
  • Ideals:
    • Tradition: The ancient traditions of worship and sacrifice must be preserved and upheld. I am guided by Avia's values of unconditional love and acceptance.
    • Faith: I trust that Avia will guide my actions. I have faith that if I work hard, things will go well.
    • Aspiration: I seek to prove myself worthy of Avia's favor by matching my actions against her teachings.
  • Bonds:
    • In vengeful search of Iidon, the fire-breathing dragon that destroyed my hometown of Gale.
    • Friendly with his current party members.
  • Flaws:
    • Fear of fire, rooted in my deeper fear of loss and isolation, stemming from my past.
    • Vengeful; Once I pick a goal, I become obsessed with it to the detriment of everything else in my life.
Backstory:

Gwakee hatched in a peaceful, isolated mountaintop community of birdfolk, primarily Owlfolk, called Gale. He was raised and cared for by the community at large, there is no cultural significance of individualistic parenthood.  Throughout his adolesence and early adulthood, he served as an acolyte in his community's Church of Avia, the goddess of Air and Love.  His hometown was destroyed carelessly in a fit of rage by a fire-breathing dragon named Iidon, during a battle between the dragon and neighboring human town located at the bottom of the mountain of Gale. Now, Gwakee is deathly afraid of fire. Despite that, he is in search of the dragon who ruthlessly destroyed his community. With the guidance of Avia by his side, (and his found family of adventurers) he believes he can one day find Iidon and avenge the deaths of his fellow Galeians.
