DOSSIER: Frost, Cynthia Alexandria P.

Alpha 2-1 "Hellraisers"

Cynthia Alexandria Pauline Frost, easily known among the rest of the MARSOC operators as Cyn or Frostbite, is currently assigned to the 2nd Marine Raiders Battalion, and is the current commanding officer of Alpha 2-1, callsign "Hellraisers". The team is tasked with high-risk operations, including but not limited to: direct action, VBSS (Visit, Board, Search and Seizure), counterterrorism, counter insurgency, EOD disposal, hot extractions and hostage rescue. She currently holds the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Cynthia was originally assigned to Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines as a designated marksman for 3rd Platoon. After the events of Broken Arrow (see files below), she was recommended for transfer to advanced special operations training within MARSOC, along with three of her comrades. Shortly after training, Cynthia and her peers were successfully reassigned to 2nd Marine Raiders under the supervision of 1st Lieutenant Marcus Santos (KIA). Alpha 2-1 then conducted several operations within Afghanistan, Iraq and in the Philippines.

During the Mindanao Incident, Alpha 2-1 was reduced to three members after a group of insurgents ambushed the team during extraction. Cynthia, showing exceptional talent and successfully bringing her subordinates out of the field, was promoted to Staff Sergeant and was given control of Alpha 2-1.

She currently holds the record of the longest shot distance ever scored by a Marine sniper, scoring a 1.5 mile shot with her M40A5 sniper rifle during a heated engagement with Taliban fighters in the Afghan mountains.

AFTER ACTION REPORT: OPERATION FIRE SERPENT

Alpha 2-1 "Hellraisers" inserted somewhere in the jungles of Mindanao, at 2300 hours, during Christmas Eve. They are tasked to recover a local politician taken hostage by an insurgent cell holding him ransom. Intel suggests they have one hour to find and extract the HVT before he is executed. The team was inserted via MH-6 Little Bird, provided for by the 1st Air Cavalry.

At exactly 2330 hours, the team begins their assault on the camp, but find that their intel was faulty. What they believed was a mere 20 fighters turned out to be a larger 80 fighters, armed with conventional firearms such as the M16 and AKM rifles (one was procured by SGT. Cynthia Frost when her M4A1 SOPMOD ran out of ammunition).

As midnight strikes, the team successfully escapes with the prisoner on a seized pick-up truck. Whiplash 1-3, a SWCC team from the Navy, is tasked to extract Alpha 2-1 via boat. During the escape, 1LT. Marcus Santos was shot in the gut during the heated car chase, and despite the corpsmen's best efforts to keep him alive after extraction, he passed away at 0200 hours.

CPL. Taylor, the team's demolition expert, was also pronounced KIA after suffering a headshot wound that exited through his ear during the initial assault.

The survivors, SGT. Cynthia Frost, CPL. Wilhelm Scott and LCPL. Elizabeth Connors, were given awards for their act of valor. SGT. Frost was promoted to SSGT. and team leadership passed on to her.
