Darwin‘s older sister, in her 2nd year of college at the start of the story majoring in English (deciding if she wants to switch to geology though). She‘s in a close-knit trio with Ronnie and their girlfriend Lorie, and they often drag June out of her house to go hang out at Ronnie’s workplace. 

((The things from childhood that Darwin doesn't remember, she does. They love their brother with all her heart, but there are thousands of words going unsaid between the two of them that only she recognizes are there at all. (Same goes with their mom, really—but I think Ms. Zhou knows)))
