My Story

Guy Mann, 45, a private investigator for Richard Dickson's private investigations INC. Lives on the Isle of Man, although was hired to investigate the case of a missing child on Jersey at a carnival.

Lied about his age and sex to fight in the war, and received surgery and improvised hormones during his time on the front lines. As well as this, he and a fellow soldier, Andrew, shared a close relationship, which ended as a result of a charge into No Man's Land. Guy returned home due to shell shock, and spent some years in recovery, where he became involved in private investigation.

During his time as a PI, Guy met Buster Samson, a Pinkerton detective on leave in britain. They share a friendly rivalry, which has slowly developed into something more, although neither of them can admit it. Buster occasionally offers Guy hideous items of fashion as a way to "liven up his wardrobe", which is filled with smart black and white clothes. Guy takes these gifts to heart, wearing them out of spite. The most recent gift, is a bright blue Fanny pack.

Guy enjoys hunting as a hobby, as he doesn't use a gun in his daily life and job, he sometimes needs to find a way to get back to a small sense of his old life.

Personal Description

Guy has dark hair worn in a mullet. He has earrings. He typically wears well ironed black trousers and a white shirt, black tie and blazer. He is about 5'7" and is very athletic, due to his outdoorsy lifestyle. His wardobe is occaisionally livened up by the addition of a "gift" from Buster. This includes a hideous plaid orange jacket, and the neon blue fanny pack.

Traits

Guy presents himself as a very serious man. He does not let others mess him around and needs people to get straight to the point with issues. He has a soft spot for Buster, although others like him (incredibly positive and happy) can annoy him. Buster does his best to annoy Guy but it simply does not work anymore.

Ideology and Beliefs

Guy does not believe in the occult. Until he sees the proof himself, he denies any evidence that people may bring to the papers. He is very public about this opinion and speaks against any kind of spiritual opinions and religions. He does not believe in any higher being that would allow suffering among humans.

Injuries and Scars

Guy was lucky enough to escape from the war physically unharmed. The same cannot be said for his emotional and mental state
