BACKSTORY:

Elison came from a comfortably well-off family who wanted him to have a good life. They sometimes pressured him to make certain decisions, but only with his best interests at heart. His father liked going to concerts and often took Elison along with him, which might be where the boy's interest in music originated. His first instrument was the guitar, but he started playing piano a few months later and immediately preferred it.

Elison studied music in college and briefly played in a band called Vacuum of Space. Finding his bandmates too ambitious, he left to work a normal job and spend more time with friends and family. Years later, he befriended Preston, a guitarist, by chance and the pair decided to start making music together, forming the group Library Kings.

Music has become a way for him to express himself safely.

Though far from argumentative, Elison is capable of putting his foot down and speaking sternly when people go too far. His habit of gently reprimanding others has been likened to a schoolteacher, a comparison that he doesn't seem to mind. He is usually the one who has to play peacekeeper and break up conflicts in his friend groups.

Preston

Elison and Preston first met in a library two years ago, where they started chatting and discovered their shared interest in music. They started writing songs together soon afterwards. They are close friends.

Errol

Errol is slightly more respectful towards Elison than to most people, but this is only because he's trying not to get kicked out of the band. Elison tries hard to cooperate with Errol and keep things peaceful.

Madeline

Elison respects Madeline greatly as a fellow musician. She only sees him as someone to create music with, though Elison has always made it clear that he's open to friendship.
