Mabyn was born to a single seamstress, and went through much of her youth unsure of who she was truly meant to be. She married soon after graduating, feeling pressured to find love and raise a proper family. It took her until some years after the birth of their twin daughters, Winifred and Gwen, to realize that what she felt for the man she married was not at all love, but mere friendship that had faltered over time, and her husband had long since proven he couldn’t be trusted to raise their children, often falling inattentive to them and even Mabyn herself. For that matter, she found that she had only assumed she had any romantic interest in men, out of simple expectation. So, seeking a new start for herself and her girls, she divorced her husband and moved to Magnolia Town. There, she started up a jewelry stand, indulging in a hobby she’d found over the years with her family. Perhaps now, she might find someone who she can truly love and trust with her family… or simply a quaint life as a single mother.
