Beewax

Beewax is a unicorn who lives on the out skirts of her town, she is a beekeeper and she spends a lot of her time tending to her bees.
She uses the wax from the bees to make candles and harvests the honey for sale.

She tends to be pretty grumpy, preferring the company of her bees to other ponies.
Despite this a flutter pony, Flutterby, has wiggled herself into her life. Beewax found her an annoyance at first but now is reluctant to admit that she is fond of the upbeat pony.

When Flutterby first enters Beewax's life Beewax has a crush on Chip, a male unicorn who lives in town and owns a bakery there.
He often comes to buy honey from Beewax to use in his baking. Flutterby helps them get together.
