Caewin N. Polaus

Caewin Polaus, also called His Imperial Majesty and known as official_caewin and RulerOfEverything on chat clients, is a fuchsiablood and the sole ruler of the planet Resnth. He most often resides on Rijlthe, and has an underwater mansion located in Moaellis. He is son to Aminei and brother to the now-deceased Cyupei.

Biography

The storming of the castle and the slaughter of the royal family was a hard time for most, but not for Aminei. Surviving simply because she wasn't around for it, the only survivor unwillingly took the seat as two young fuchsias were hatched in secrecy, to be raised for power.

[NOTE: This being said, however, implies that Aminei did any of the raising. She did not. The grubs were raised in the caverns until pupation and the freshly molted children were sent to the castle.]

Almost immediately upon arrival, she favored the son. She saw so much of herself in him, and the girl was just so... shrill. And needy. She neglected both of her children, but the additional bullying Cyupei received in addition made her self sufficient, but a people pleaser. Caewin never needed to try, and more importantly was never told no. As the siblings grew older, perhaps in a bid to please Aminei, Caewin happily took up the habit of picking on Cyupei, more ruthless than she ever could be.

This changed nothing, though, as Aminei fully abandoned them both at the first opportunity- roughly around their 13th birthday.

With their caretaker gone and the incredible strain between him and his sister, it's no surprise he began to feel lonely. He picked a few of the housekeepers at random, and strong armed them into affection. Who would dare deny the wishes of the young prince? All Caewin knew were unwilling relationships, and all the power that came along with these ones tasted so good. He began to ignore his duties in pursuit of the maids, all while Cyupei silently took up the slack.

Caewin never talked to his sister, and barely even saw her. He could only imagine how little she was doing, with her pop star routine being completely impossible to avoid. She was irresponsible, was focusing on too many things that didn't matter. He could probably handle it all himself- that's what Aminei had always said. How much was Cyupei even doing, really?

With his sister dead, Caewin was absolutely, totally distraught. He feared deeply for his safety, and went into hiding as a result. The media was all over him, but he "needed to grieve." Though he organized the plot himself, he found a small bit of himself... missing her. Though they rarely talked, the mansion was filled with a different type of quiet. Though he did all the work himself (or so, he thought), he was suddenly swamped with so much more.

To his surprise, he really did need to grieve.

With one fuchsia gone, it was only natural to hatch one in its place. With all the grace and tact the breeding violets could muster, they approached Caewin for approval. He initially declined, but tacked on a "maybe, but probably not." A miscommunication or two later, and another fuchsia was hatched- much to his dismay.
