A former human now stuck in the form of a Pokémon, Noel Valerian is a researcher who studies the Dream World, as they believe that it is the source of the strange happenings in the Pokémon World. Now, as a Pokémon, Professor Valerian can access it, and being a fusion of a Musharna, at the very least, they now have access to a copius amount of Dream Mist for their research. While at the moment, they found a way to change a Pokémon's form and appearance, there is still more research to be done on why exactly it works, as they found that while Dream Mist CAN work, it doesn't work for EVERY Pokémon.
Prior to their state now as a PokéFusion, Professor Valerian had a lot of Pokémon assistants, but in their current state, they can't seem to control their Pokémon at all, which is atypical. As such, they are over-reliant on trainers to help assist in their research compared to other professors at this given time..
