But life took a wild turn when a massive fire hit his peaceful village one day when he was about to arrive home. In the midst of that chaos, James, with all his guts, set out to find his family. He eventually stumbled upon his parents, lying on the ground, their condition uncertain. Panic set in as he shouted for them, but there was no response. In that intense moment, a brave firefighter emerged from the smoke and flames, offering words of comfort and reassurance. This firefighter was a real hero, rescuing James and the villagers from the fiery madness. Even after making sure they were safe, the firefighter went back into the raging inferno. Confused and worried, James asked why. The firefighter knelt down and said, "Don't sweat it, kid, firefighters don't catch fire, remember that. Plus, this is my job. It's my duty to protect people."
The firefighter left James in the hands of the paramedics nearby. A few hours later, James got the gut-wrenching news that the firefighter didn't make it. That loss hit him hard and changed him in a big way. Fueled by gratitude and a desire to honor the memory of the hero who saved his family and village, James decided to turn over a new leaf.

His journey from a traumatized child to a firefighter wielding the power to control fire allowed him to find healing from his past while safeguarding the community he held dear.
